Police arrest man over death of 18-year-old near Biloela

DETECTIVES  have charged an Argoon man following investigations into the death of an 18-year-old man in Biloela last week.

Police were notified the body of a man had been located on Jambin-Dakenbah Road just before 4am on January 10. Immediate medical assistance was provided, however he died at the scene.

It will be alleged that he sustained fatal injuries while a passenger on a motorcycle ridden by a 28-year-old man.

The 28-year-old Argoon man has been charged with one count of dangerous operation of a motor vehicle causing death or grievous bodily harm and left scene of incident without obtaining help.  He was also charged with three associated traffic-related offences.

He will appear in the Biloela Magistrates Court on January 29.
