UPDATE: The 68-year-old man reported missing from Urangan yesterday has been located.

The man is safe and well and police thank the public and media for their assistance.

EARLIER: Police are seeking public assistance to find a 68-year-old man reported missing from Urangan today.

The man was last seen at a Pulgul Street address on December 2.

Police and family hold concerns for his welfare as it is out of character for him not to be in contact and he suffers from a medical condition.

Holger is described as 180cm tall, thin build with short grey hair and unshaven grey facial hair. He is known to have a backpack containing clothes only.

Police are asking anyone who sees Holger or is aware of his whereabouts to contact Crimestoppers on 1800 333 000.
