Police still looking for information

DETECTIVES from the Whitsunday Criminal Investigation Branch are still seeking the public's assistance to identify a male person who may be able to assist them with an incident that occurred just after midnight on Monday, May 19 in the main street of Airlie Beach.

The incident involved a man striking the victim with a single punch which then resulted in him falling to the ground and sustaining serious head injuries.

The description of the man that police believe may be able to assist with the investigation is caucasian with short brown hair, about 35-40 years old and a solid build.
