Capricornia MP Michelle Landry has said she personally does not support same sex marriage, but is always willing to respectfully listen to the views of those in her electorate.
"If people in the electorate feel strongly one way or the other on the topic of same sex marriage, I am prepared to take their views back to the party room in Canberra," she wrote on Facebook.

Labor candidate for Capricornia Leisa Neaton supports marriage equality.
"I just believe that love is love and I believe people should be able to marry the person they're in love with. I want equality. I don't want people to be disadvantaged because of who they love," Leisa told The Morning Bulletin.

Keppel MP Brittany Lauga supports the push for marriage equality and has said all MPs should have a free vote on the matter.
"It's time for our laws to reflect the values of modern Australia and to include everyone as equals. I always have and always will support marriage equality," she wrote on Facebook.

Rockhampton-based LNP Senator Matt Canavan does not support marriage equality. He told The Morning Bulletin he has always been upfront about his beliefs and would not compromise them.

Flynn MP Ken O'Dowd has said his personal opinion is irrelevant and, were the LNP to allow a conscience vote on the matter, he would vote based on what the people of his electorate want.
He has sent a survey to 60,000 homes in his electorate with questions about their views on euthanasia, marriage equality, dams and daylight savings.
We want to know what your thoughts are. Should Australia introduce marriage equality?
