THE POMMIE Night Out show is returning to the Proserpine Entertainment Centre for a concert on Saturday, March 14

The unique, cheeky, slapstick show features loads of audience participation and costume changes and will be rounded out by a good old-fashioned "Pommie smorgasbord dinner" before the show.

Since the show started touring, it has travelled more than 1,000,000 kms, visiting places as far away as Broken Hill, Mount Isa and Malaysia.

It has had two successful tours of New Zealand and is already booked for return tours in 2015.

The show was recently filmed for a new television show due to be screened later this year and has just won the award for "Best Gold Coast Entertainment Show".

The show features lots of sing-a-long songs like "When you're smiling", "You are my sunshine", "Hello Hello", "Oh you beautiful doll", interspersed with great British comedy, and will bring back memories for all of the audience.

Comedy is provided by "Bubble", who is already making a name for herself in the comedy world.

Standing at just 4ft 8ins, what "Bubble" lacks in height, she more than makes up for with her bubbling personality and wicked sense of humour. "Bubble" has appeared all over the world, and even worked with the legendary Benny Hill. She has just been voted 'Best Gold Coast Entertainer'.

David Lee-Jay has been in entertainment for many years, and has worked with many of the top British groups including The Fortunes and The Applejacks.

He has worked all over the world on Cruise Liners, and appeared in many pantomimes in England.

Throughout the show many different characters make appearances, including The Pearly King and Queen, and Dad's Army, and a great time is assured.

Proserpine Entertainment Centre manager Chris Patrick said it would be a fun night out with singing, music and risque slapstick jokes.

"We've done it before - we had a pretty good response and quite a few people in," Mr Patrick said,

"There were about 100 here last time. With the dinner as well - which includes steak and kidney pie, bangers and mash, fish and chips, all the healthy food - it's a good wholesome night out."

Bookings for both the show and dinner are essential.
