Is this proof we are not alone?

COULD this be the sign we are not alone?

Has Alicia Price taken a photo of an UFO floating above Mackay Airport, or is it a mark on the glass?

While some in the Daily Mercury choose to believe, those less whimsical has dismissed the UFO theory.

Digital producer and skeptic Shakira Sellen was the first to suggest it was a downlight reflected from the hotel room.

It was a theory photography editor Tony Martin supported.

"After careful scrutiny between myself and fellow photo journalist Lee Constable we concluded that this was not a UFO," he said.

"It took us  a little while to work out what was happening in this image but we are certain we have the right answer to debunk the UFO theory.

"The photo was taken from behind a window, and the small white oval shape is actually the reflection on the window from a down light inside the room the person is in.
