Proserpine Hospital a Humpty funds winner

THE Proserpine Hospital has received badly-needed nursing equipment as a result of the Humpy Dumpty Foundation's Great Humpty Ball.

Valued at over $1690, the foundation was able to purchase a Rad 5 Pulse Oximeter with a sensor for the hospital.

Proserpine Hospital acting director of nursing Lisa Milne said it was wonderful to recieve the continued support.

"This piece of equipment is vital in assessing children and assuring that we have accurate oxygen saturation levels," she said.

The Rad 5 Pulse Oximeter for Proserpine Hospital's paediatric department was one of 34 pieces of equipment purchased by the Humpty Dumpty Foundation to go into 21 hospitals. The foundation supports 229 hospital across Australia.

Since the establishment of the Humpty Dumpty Foundation in 1996, the charity has raised over

$45 million and continues to make a significant impact on the lives of sick and injured children at hospitals and health service centres in every state of Australia.
