Queensland shivers as temps fall below zero
WHY even bother getting out of bed when it's this cold?
Winter has decided to remind us why we have such warm doonas in the house today, knocking parts of the state down into the dreaded minuses.
In the south-west of the state Warwick was forced to endure -2.3°C at 6.47am, Wellcamp Airport was down to -2°C and Toowoomba shivered at 1.4°C, which felt like -2°C
Kingaroy was down to 0.2°C, which felt like a freezing -3.1°C
Amberley, near Ipswich, was down to 2.6°C.
Along the Coast, it was a little more comfortable but was still cool enough to turn on a heater and dig out the slippers.
