Readers take third in region
A TEAM of keen readers headed south last week, contesting the Readers Cup Mackay Regional Championships. The St Catherine's Catholic College Year 6 Students claimed third spot from eight teams.
College librarian Annabel Stewart said the school was proud of their students effort in their first year.
"The team worked very well together to answer the 50 questions, some of which were really hard," she said.
"We are delighted with our third place result and will definitely be competing again this year."
