Real estate agent wins major award

WHITSUNDAY real estate agent Steve Marks won a host of accolades at the Ray White half year awards held in Mackay last month.

Competing against all Ray White Offices from Mackay to Cairns, Mr Marks took out the Number one position for the number of settled sales for the first six months of 2010.

He also achieved the number three spot for settled commission and is currently ranked number six in Queensland comprising more than 2000 agents.

Ray White Principal Mark Beale said that in recent years, the Whitsunday property market had had many challenges.

“Steve's hard work and direct honest approach has shown that results are possible in any market,” Mr Beale said.

Mr Marks said Ray White had been a great company to work with during the tough market conditions.

“Regular training and support has given me and the rest of the Ray White Team the skills and motivation to get fantastic results for our vendors,” he said.
