RIO 2016: OUCH! Ten times that had to hurt at the Olympics
WE marvel at the great achievements at the Olympic Games but sometimes not everything goes to plan.
Here are ten moments from the Rio Games that will make you say ouch and cringe for the poor athletes involved.
As for the last one, it's best not to watch it if you have a weak stomach.
We'll start off easy.
Germany's Kristina Vogel was coming towards the second race in the gold medal decider against Great Britain's Becky James when her saddle snapped near the finish line. It did not stop the German from taking the win or the gold but it looked pretty painful.

Russian Ilia Zakharov's pride might have been hurt more than anything after this effort in the diving. He was a favourite for a medal in Rio after taking a gold in London four years ago. The 3m springboard Olympic champion got straight zeros for this epic fail and missed out on the final.
#RUS Ilia Zakharov won #Diving gold in London, but at #Rio2016 it couldn't have been more different #7olympics https://t.co/tUqB3l3cTz

Britain's Mark Cavendish causes chaos in the men's omnium as he appears to come down the track too soon and crashes into Korean Sanghoon Park. Park then tumbles into Australian Glenn O'Shea and Italian Elia Viviani, who both went down. Park was taken to hospital, while O'Shea and Viviani continued with the Italian going on to win gold.
Huge crash in the men's omnium sees @glennoshea1 #AUS go down, but he's back up and racing now #CyclingTrack https://t.co/XLa0MrZogC

Australia's javelin champion Kim Mickle's calculated risk of rushing back from a shoulder reconstruction has backfired horribly. The 31-year-old West Australian grimaced in extreme pain after her third throw in the competition and immediately left the track seeking urgent attention from medical staff.
