CREDIT to the gang of men who built the Riordanvale Rd.
The road structure and the drainage work is a top job. I never saw, at any one time, men standing around or a machine not moving.
The road was completed in very good time. However, it is a shame that engineers did not put bigger pipes where water used to run over the road.
Instead, engineers let the same size pipes (which were not big enough in the first place) be used, but this is not the fault of the road builders.
I hear rumour that the council is looking at using all contractors to build shire roads - big mistake council.
Give these local blokes the road to build, at least, we won't end up with a lot of "Strathdickie" roads in our shire.
To the crew who is still building the Riordanvale Rd - credit to you and a job well done.
