PHOTOS: Crash closes one lane of busy Toowoomba street
UPDATE: A ute with a trailer attached has failed to stop at the stop sign on Curzon St and James Sts intersection, colliding with a road train on James St.
The collision with the truck, in the wet conditions, pushed the ute up onto the footpath where it hit and uprooted the Curzon St sign.
Emergency services assessed the scene, with police staying at the crash to direct traffic around the truck and car.
The lane was closed while tow trucks removed the vehicle.
BREAKING: A road train and a utility have collided at a busy Toowoomba intersection.
The crash took place about 10.15am at the intersection of James and Curzon Sts in Rangeville.
Emergency services are rushing to the scene.
One lane of James St is closed and motorists are urged to avoid the area.
The drivers of both vehicles are thought to be unhurt.
