MEMBERS of the MacGregor family from Tinaroo were too good this weekend taking out the hotly contested Queensland Tasar Titles in Airlie Beach.

All up about 80 local and Queensland competitors were involved in the annual regatta which is headlined by the Tasar State Titles.

Principal Race Officer Jimmy Hayes said that the Whitsunday Sailing Club's premier off-beach event was another great success this year.

He added that it was great to see so many junior sailors coming through the ranks.
