Sign of times
THE size of an illuminated sign at the site of the new Hungry Jacks at Cannonvale has recently been a topic of conversation in the Whitsunday community.
The signage is located at the new building which fronts Shute Harbour Road at the Whitsunday Shopping Centre.
Whitsunday Regional Council Mayor Mike Brunker said the signage application was submitted and assessed in October 2008.
“The signage was deemed compliant with the local law and met all necessary requirements according to those laws,” Cr Brunker said.
