Soward links with London Broncos

PANTHERS playmaker Jamie Soward’s time as a player in the NRL appears over, but club boss Phil Gould rates him so highly he could come back as a coach.

Soward was released from Penrith immediately to take up a deal with the London Broncos.

The 31-year-old played nine matches with the English club in 2013.

The highlight of his time with the Panthers was a memorable run to the preliminary final in 2014.

“If Jamie sees a future in coaching, it is my intention he will begin that career here at the Panthers,” Gould said.
