St Cath's wraps up another year

ANOTHER year is almost over for the students of St Catherine's Catholic College in Proserpine.

With another year comes more great achievements from students, achievements that principal David Burke was especially proud of this year.

"We had some outstanding award recipients and I suppose the results students received demonstrated work programs that are the achieving dividends, in particular with our outstanding NAPLAN results which aligns with student achievement and we look forward to seeing successful secondary results in 2017,” Mr Burke said.

Award winners were honoured at a ceremony last week.

Next year will be the first time Year 12s will be graduating the school.

Mr Burke said it was a huge milestone, and planning was already under way for the inaugural Year 12 graduation at St Catherine's Catholic College in 2017.
