NO celebrity or musician will be safe from Rhonda Theodosis' camera when she and husband John attend the ARIA Awards this Sunday at the Sydney Opera House.
The Toowoomba couple will be rubbing elbows with Australia's biggest musicians and band members after receiving a special invite to cheer on their son's band Amy Meredith.
“We get to share a smorgasbord dinner and attend the after party with all the musicians and their families,” Mrs Theodosis said.
“I'll be coming back with a whole bunch of photos of me smiling next to confused celebrity musicians.”
Their son Kosta is the drummer for Sydney pop-rock group Amy Meredith who are nominated for a “Best Breakthrough Artist” and “Most Popular Australian Artist” award in Australia's biggest music awards ceremony.
“Kosta is extremely excited to see Amy Meredith nominated and John and I are just excited to be able to be there,” Mrs Theodosis said.
“We have $500 Platinum Tickets which are usually reserved for musicians and their families.”
Mrs Theodosis admitted the couple might get a little star-struck sharing the room with celebrities like Jimmy Barnes, Ian Moss, Guy Sebastian and John Butler and said embarrassing Kosta was a very real possibility.
“Hopefully, once he gets a few drinks in him, he won't notice us,” she joked.
