State dressage win

SARAH Dobe and Tori Mansfield have returned home, flushed with success, after travelling to Burpengary recently to compete in the Pony Club Queensland State Dressage, Combined Training and Eventing Championships.

Both girls competed in all three competitions along with more than 300 riders from across the state, with exceptional results.

Sarah finished 22nd in novice dressage, 8th in combined training and then brought it home in the eventing, winning overall intro 13-26 years.

This result with her trusty mount Highique earned them a gold medallion and, of course, the very sought after maroon rug.

It also placed them in the Queensland State Eventing team for 2015.

Tori Mansfield also had wonderful results achieving a second, fifth and third in the prelim dressage comp 13 years and under 26 years.

This resulted in Tori receiving the bronze medallion for this group.

Day three saw Tori and Limited Edition receiving a silver medallion for the combined training competition.

Eventing had Tori leading the dressage phase but, after a nasty fall in the cross country, they were eliminated.
