WANT to learn the tips and tricks of business?

We can help you out.

The Whitsunday Times and Whitsunday Coast Guardian are inviting you to attend a free marketing information seminar next Thursday, September 1.

Hosted by general manager of the Times and Guardian, Steven Jacklin, the sessions will give business owners insights into successful marketing in challenging times.

"Small business owners lead an extremely busy life and often struggle finding time to work on marketing," Steven said.

"(So) I want to impart some of my knowledge on creating an effective multimedia campaign with a focus on yielding results, increasing market share and building your brand."

Steven has had over 10 years' experience in the media industry and has seen the major changes to the media landscape thanks to the rapid growth of digital platforms.

Steven will share his insights into how to cut through clutter, strengthen your brand and get better results.

Four one-hour sessions will run throughout the day at 7.30am, 11am, 2pm and 5.30pm at the Reef Gateway Hotel.

"I encourage small local businesses to come and join me next Thursday," Steven said.
