Svenson making debut at Airlie Fight Night

SVENSON is making her debut at the Airlie Fight Night show. She is participating in the 12-week "Fight Night Experience" program.

Whitsunday MMA coach Dan Zealand spoke on her progress so far.

"Elly is beginning to fine-tune her skills," he said. "The program is past the halfway point and into the business end."

Zealand was happy to see Svenson pushing herself harder with each training session.

"She has reached the point where she is mixing it up with the senior boxers," he said.

"It's great because she keeps coming back for more."

The 12-week program has given Svenson an insight into her capabilities as a fighter according to Zealand.

"All the training has brought on a new confidence in her abilities," he said.

"Elly will be leaving nothing in the ring."
