Teen allegedly stole woman's car at knifepoint
A WOMAN was threatened with a knife and her car stolen in Aitkenvale yesterday morning.
Police investigating the incident have charged a teenager with armed robbery.
It's alleged the woman was threatened with a knife and pulled forcibly from the driver's seat of her car as she was parked in the driveway of a Nathan Street petrol station.
Police say two teenagers then drove off in the car. It was later found abandoned later in the morning with a damaged front wheel.
A 15-year-old Kirwan boy was last night charged with armed robbery in company, unlawful use of a motor vehicle and unlawful entry of a motor vehicle and commit an indicatable offence.
The boy will be dealt with under the provisions of the Youth Justices Act.
