Teen with gun puts school into lockdown, 2 pulled from class
THE Adelaide Advertiser is reporting that a teenager with a gun has put a school in Adelaide into lockdown.
The Norwood Morialta High school in Adelaide's Eastern Suburbs was locked down by police at 10:30am this morning after a teenager reportedly wearing the school's uniform was seen near the school with a firearm.
The Advertiser is also reporting that parents have said two students were removed from class during the lockdown.
"As a precaution the school has been locked down. Students remain safely in their classrooms," SAPOL told the newspaper.
Police sniffer dogs have also been called to the scene.
The school has two sites, the middle campus, at Morialta Road West, and a senior campus at The Parade, Magill.
