CHANNEL 9 is finally on to a ratings winner with The Voice.

After a disastrous 2011 where Nine lost all 44 ratings weeks to Channel Seven, the broadcaster has come out firing in the post-Easter ratings blitz with The Voice, The Block and tomorrow night's debut of Celebrity Apprentice.

The blind auditions of The Voice - where coaches Keith Urban, Delta Goodrem, Joel Madden and Seal must judge singers based purely on their voices - have captivated millions of Aussie viewers.

The show debuted to an average national audience of 3.046 million, peaking at 4.11 million, on Sunday and instantly made 19-year-old blues singer Karise Eden a household name.

Emotions ran high last night when vision-impaired 18-year-old Rachael Leahcar brought Goodrem to tears with her performance of Edith Piaf's La Vie En Rose.

Renovation reality series The Block, on the back of its Logies win, also did well on its opening night with a peak five-city metro audience of 1.942 million.

Both shows, which continue tonight, knocked Seven's popular Monday-night drama Revenge off its perch.

The second series of Celebrity Apprentice Australia debuts tomorrow night.
