New details emerge: Collinsville residents involved in crash

UPDATE: 1:48PM: Three Collinsville residents and a Kelso man were involved in a single-vehicle crash near the intersection of Strathmore Rd and Johnny Cake Rd at about 8:37pm last night.

A spokeswoman from Queensland Police Services said a 21-year-old Collinsville woman was driving a 2007 Nissan Navara and after the initial crash reportedly drove to Bowen River Pub before calling the ambulance.   

The vehicle was carrying three passengers, a 16-year-old Collinsville girl, a 17-year-old Collinsville girl and a 21-year-old Kelso man.   

Three patients were transported to Collinsville Hospital in stable conditions following the incident.   

The man sustained a head injury and was transported with spinal precautions and two other patients, both female, sustained minor injuries.

Ambulance and police services were on the scene and are investigating the incident further.
