Three men rob Townsville hotel

TOWNSVILLE police are investigating the armed robbery of a hotel in Kirwan early this morning.

Initial investigations indicate that three men entered a hotel on Kern Brothers Drive at about 3.45am.

They approached cleaning staff, armed with tools, and made verbal threats. After ransacking the premises they fled the scene with a sum of cash.

Nobody was injured during this incident.

Anybody who saw any suspicious activity around this area this morning, or who may have any other information which could assist police is urged to contact Crime Stoppers.
