WHILE the wet weather kept some drivers away, there was still more than 20 go-karters out on track at the Whitsunday Motor Sports Club Race day on Sunday.

Racing started at 10am with karters from right across North Queensland converging on the Whitsunday Raceway for an action packed day around the slippery track.

Karters raced across six different divisions with some tight results in all classes before the day wrapped up with a presentation ceremony.
