Police ask for help to reunite gold ring with owner

POLICE are hoping to reunite a gold ring with its owner.

The ring found its way to police after being handed to a charity, possibly by the person who stole it.

Toowoomba police are seeking community assistance to identify the owner of a gold band (possibly wedding) ring that contains the inscription inside "Love Kevin 10.7.75".

The ring was located in a charity bin in the Kearneys Spring area.

The ring was handed to police as found property late last year after being located in a charity bin in the Kearneys Spring area.

Some other items from this bin were identified as being stolen and police suspect that this ring may have been stolen also.

Police are hopeful that the ring may be returned to the owner in time for their 40th anniversary.

If you have any information that could assist, please contact Policelink on 13 14 44 with police reference number QP1401731488.
