Car rolls twice, lands on its wheels

UPDATE 10.40AM: Traffic congestion is starting to ease on the Bruce Hwy after a collision caused a car to roll twice and land on its wheels.

A witness said a ute and a white sports utility vehicle were both travelling south when they collided at North Arm.

The witness said the ute was in the left lane and the white wagon was in the right lane.

Paramedics were called but injuries to the people in the white wagon were believed to be minor.

The ute only sustained minor damage on its tray.

Southbound traffic was queued up for 3.5km behind the crash at 10.25am but the scene was expected to be cleared soon after.

EARLIER: Bruce Hwy traffic is queuing after a crash in the southbound lanes at North Arm.

Information is limited at the moment but emergency services are on their way to the scene, a few kilometres south of Eumundi.

Southbound traffic has been restricted to one lane.

The incident was reported about 9.35am.
