Truck causes hiccup at Airlie Beach Race Week HQ

A TRUCK collided with a piece of infrastructure at the Airlie Beach Race Week HQ this morning.

Workers quickly began repairing the damage, with all infrastructure now back in place ahead of this afternoon's entertainment.

Local boys Sun Salute are set to stun the crowd from 6pm, with food stalls keeping party-goers fed.

After a week of sensational action both on and off the water, Airlie Beach Race Week wraps up tomorrow with a final race in Pioneer Bay.

Then it's back to the club where The Hillbilly Goats will give the audience something to cheer about from 6pm.

Presentations will also be at the club tomorrow afternoon, with the community encouraged to come on down, enjoy the atmosphere and cheer on their favourite team.
