TWENTY-ONE children and two adults have been released from Rockhampton Hospital after a truck collided with a school bus and a taxi in Rockhampton about midday.

It is believed the truck smashed into the back of the bus which then collided with a taxi on Gladstone Road near Allenstown School.

Another vehicle received minor damage

More than 30 students from Waraburra State Primary School where on board the bus.


Paramedics treated 38 people at the scene before taking 23 of them to Rockhampton Hospital.
