Two injured after car hits cows near Jandowae

TWO people have been airlifted by CareFlight helicopter to a Brisbane hospital after the car they were travelling in struck two cows on the road near Jandowae.
A Queensland Ambulance Spokesman said the accident occurred on the Chinchilla/Wondai Rd near Durong north of Jandowae about 6.42pm Tuesday.
One patient believed to be in their mid-20s sustained arm, shoulder and facial injuries while a second patient in their mid-40s sustained a fractured ankle and chest injuries.
An ambulance crew from Jandowae attended the scene and treated the patients until they were airlifted by Rescue 500 Brisbane helicopter in a stable condition.
It is believed both cows were deceased at the scene.
