Two teenage boys injured in related stabbings
TWO teenage boys were injured in two related stabbings in Melbourne on Saturday night.
The stabbings happened in Footscray, where a 16 year-old boy was stabbed on a city street minutes before a 15 year-old boy was stabbed outside a fast food restaurant nearby.
Both stabbing victims were taken to separate hospitals with serious but non-life threatening injuries.
Victorian detectives believe the same group of young men were responsible for both stabbings, and have appealed for witnesses to come forward.
