Vaughan signs three-year deal with the Dragons

RUGBY LEAGUE: Canberra's Paul Vaughan has agreed to join St George Illawarra from next season.

The forward, who has represented NSW Country for the past three years, will join the Dragons on a three-year deal.

"I'm very happy to be joining the Dragons, who have such a rich history, and looking forward to starting the pre-season alongside my new teammates,” Vaughan said.

"The focus now is training hard over the coming months to establish myself within a very strong forward pack and playing my role within the squad.”

The Rabbitohs, meanwhile, have re-signed hooker Damien Cook for a further two years, allaying fears he would be pushed out by the arrival of Robbie Farah from the Tigers.
