VIDEO: Reader shows fog still thick at Yeppoon at 1.30pm

2.10pm: IF you thought it was bad that the fog was as thick as corn chowder in Rockhampton this morning, then you haven't been outside on the beach in the past hour.

The Bulletin reader Tracey Gale and her family were visiting Yeppoon Main Beach at 1.30pm today and the fog was still crazy thick.

She took this video:

And then there is this video of the fog at Rosslyn Bay harbour entrance at 2pm today:

And at Lammermoor Beach after 2pm today:

What ocean? The view from Wreck Point was just white fog just after 2pm today:

9.55am: MOTORISTS and cyclists battled through fog as thick as corn chowder in Rockhampton this morning.

One of The Bulletin staff members said they were concerned for cyclists after seeing one on Alexander St about 5.45am.

"I only just saw him as I drove past, as I was following another vehicle. If I hadn't have seen the light on the front of the bike, I probably would have not seen him at all as he was wearing dark coloured clothing .... no reflective gear."
