Weekend weather is looking sunny and fine

ACCORDING to the Bureau of Meteorology this weekend is looking fine and sunny.

Sports fans, anglers, horse riders and cane growers will all be hoping the prediction of a 0% chance of rain is on the money.

On Sunday the chance will increase to 30% with a possible 0.4mm most likely to fall in the late afternoon.

A 30% chance of rain will continue into Monday before dropping to 10% on Tuesday, increasing again to 40% on Wednesday and Thursday next week.

On the water winds of about 10-15 knots have been blowing consistently from the south.  

Tomorrow light winds are becoming southeasterly at 15-20 knots in the morning. 

On Sunday light winds of 10-15 knots, turning easterly are expected, with minimum temperatures ranging from 8-13 degrees and daytime temperatures reaching the low 20s.
