
Whitsunday students star in model search
THREE Proserpine State High School students took part in the 2103 RACQ Central Queensland Rescue model search in Mackay on Saturday.
Kate Robb, 14, Jordan Matthews, and Paris Marshall, both 15, flew the flag for the Whitsundays in the model search which raises funds and awareness for the RACQ CQ rescue helicopter.
All the girls have been fundraising for the last few months and Paris won the Charity Princess award for raising $23,500, including $20,000 from Green Energy Technologies to fit out the RACQ rescue shed in Mackay.
She also took out the Miss Photogenic award.
The young model and senior model search category saw the girls compete in three categories, showcasing tropical resort wear, day wear and after 5pm wear.
