About three weeks later, Elliot was caught committing the same offence again; this time at a BWS liquor store in Toowong.
Eliot and a co-accused male were caught stealing a bottle of Jack Daniels and a bottle of Bundaberg Rum.
As a consequence, Eliott appeared in the dock at Ipswich Magistrates Court charged with two counts of stealing.
Police prosecutor Sergeant Steve De Lissa said a total of $252 of alcohol had been stolen in relation to the two thefts.

Magistrate Barry Cosgrove noted Elliott's criminal history contained other convictions for stealing and shoplifting.
Mr Cosgrove said Elliott's "unsophisticated" offences showed a "deliberate intention" to break the law.
Eliot was convicted, fined $300 and ordered to pay $195.98 in restitution.
He was also sentenced to a month in prison, suspended for six months.
