Win a wheelbarrow of goodies

THIS Christmas one lucky shopper will walk out of Proserpine IGA with more than they anticipated.

Retired nurse Gayle Moody and nurse Noelle Delaney set up a Christmas raffle this month, offering one lucky customer the chance to win $450 worth of Christmas delights.

Mrs Moody said they were raising vital funds to support Proserpine Hospital.

"We are really trying to get new monitors for the Proserpine Hospital in the emergency unit,” Mrs Moody said.

"They are very expensive and very important.”

The Christmas wheelbarrow includes four bottles of wine, a Bunnings voucher, butchery voucher and everything needed for a merry Christmas.

Mrs Moody thanked Proserpine IGA for donating most of the raffle prizes and allowing her to sell raffle tickets at the grocery store.

IGA shoppers will have more opportunities to buy raffle tickets from next Monday.

The winning ticket will be drawn on December 17 at 10am.
