A 26-year-old Berserker woman has been charged over a traffic crash at Kabra which killed one motorcycle rider and left another with serious injuries.

Trevor was taken to Rockhampton Hospital with serious leg, spinal and wrist injuries and was later airlifted to the Royal Brisbane and Women's Hospital in an induced coma.

He was woken from the coma earlier this month after undergoing several major surgeries.

On Monday, his daughter Laurena Furber told The Morning Bulletin he was now able to have full conversations with his family.

Despite this positive improvement, Laurena said doctors were unable to know at this stage whether Trevor would be able to walk again.

But Laurena said he was determined to walk again and had a positive outlook on the situation.

The woman is scheduled to appear in Rockhampton Magistrate's Court on September 1.
