Woman in critical condition after powered bicycle crash

A COUPLE riding a powered bicycle has crashed at Varsity Lakes yesterday.

Police say around 10.45pm the woman and man were travelling down Yodelay Street when the bike has left the road.

The rider was taken to Gold Coast University Hospital with serious injuries where she remains in a critical condition.

The Forensic Crash Unit is investigating.
