Woman fronts court accused of making counterfeit cash

A WOMAN accused of making and using counterfeit money has had her charges mentioned in court.

Torey Patricia McLean, 32, appeared in Maroochydore Magistrates Court on Thursday on four counterfeit-related charges as well as one count of disqualified driving.

The three use of counterfeit money offences allegedly occurred on the Sunshine Coast on June 16 and June 27 as well as sometime between June 21 and 29.

Police allege the making counterfeit money offence occurred at Parreara on June 9.

McLean asked that her matters be adjourned to obtain legal advice.

She said she was 18 months into a two-year driving ban when she was charged with disqualified driving.

Her matters were adjourned for next mention on August 4.
