Woman, 18, in hospital after struck by car in Toowoomba
UPDATE: A young woman has been taken to hospital after she was struck by a car on James St this morning.
The 18-year-old pedestrian suffered minor injuries when she was struck by a car outside the James St Medical Centre at the intersection of James and West St about 6.30am.
Queensland Ambulance paramedics assessed the woman at the scene before she was taken to Toowoomba Hospital in a stable condition.
6.35AM: A pedestrian has been struck by a car at a major intersection in Toowoomba this morning.
The 18-year-old woman was reportedly hit near the intersection of James and West Sts about 6.30am.
Police, ambulance and Queensland Fire and Emergency Services crews are arriving on scene.
Authorities urge motorists travelling in the area to take care.
