Adored Father and Father-in-law of Jeanette and Noel, Helen and Michael, David and Nicki, Richard and Cindy, Katharine and Scott.
Loved Grandfather of Zach and Sammy, Ashlee and Matthew, Stephen and Leah, India, Eden and Justin, Jaimi and Jack, Alexandra, Georgia, Bella, Toby and Romy.
Loved Great-grandfather of Darius, Lilly, Macee, Wylee, Penny, Theodore, Arianna, Lukas, River, Freya.
David was a loving, kind and generous Husband and Father for whom family was everything. In return his family adored him and fought the good fight on his behalf.
The king of the kids is free to play again.
The Family would like to thank the wonderful staff at Gerda’s for their care and kindness. A special thanks to those who went above and beyond to assist with David’s mobility when needed.
To Dr Wayne Lightfoot and Dr Josh Bye - thank you for the compassionate care you gave David.
To Jo Morgan - a special thank you for taking on the responsibility of being David’s personal physiotherapist providing rehabilitation and pain management following his neck injury. Your patience, consideration and good humour were invaluable in restoring David’s mobility, strength and endurance.
